Awesome Rocket Video



Above is a video of a rocket taking off and gaining some serious elevation, only you can’t tell because the video camera is aimed at the fuselage of the spacecraft. The first couple of minutes are BORING! But right about the two minute mark you figure out that the camera is actually strapped to one of the two boost rockets that got the craft out of the Earth’s atmosphere.

The video is from space flight mission STS-124, which took place in May 2008.
